| Name: | Azkadellia |
|---|
My name is Princess Azkadellia, the eldest daughter of Queen Lavender, of the Gale line that has reigned over the Outer Zone for the last two hundred annuals. I go by Az, or Azkadee, or Azzy. For my own reasons, I prefer not to be called by full birth name. And I am not even talking about the interesting middle names I was given.
At the age of twelve, my sister and I stumbled onto a trapped Ancient Witch in a cave, and was possessed. The next fifteen annuals are not ones I would rather not remember as a whole, but are ones that for the most part I cannot help but remember. Oftentimes the memories bleed into my dreams and...well, sometimes I do not sleep as well as I wish.
I am unsure whether I should be grateful or afraid about the holes in my memory from those years.
By the time that the Double Eclipse rolled around, my mother had been imprisoned with my own magic (although not my own will), my father missing, and my sister presumed dead (again by my own magic).
Being saved from my prison, albeit within my own body, on the night of the Double Eclipse was the most wonderful, terrifying things I could have never hoped to imagine. Now I have my sister, my mother and my father back. And I didn't have a single clue what I was to do with that. With them.
Events after that came fast and swift, nearly overwhelming in their intensity. I fell in love, was kidnapped by my worst enemies, saw some of my greatest nightmares up to that point brought to life, and had the world shaken from beneath me. The experience unfortunately also freed me from the haze of shock and reminded me that I still have far to go before I'll ever be normal. Or at least normal for me.
Now I'm engaged, happily, to Jeb. We have a...complicated past history, to say the least, which made it all the more surprising. And we have just received the papers to adopt Eliza, a happy little child that we met oddly on the one of the worst days of our lives. A day we all want to put behind us.
My sister's engaged as well, oddly enough to the father of my own fiance, although she did have claim on the elder Cain before I even batted my eyes at the younger. My parents are actually expecting their third child, which is fantastic.
Now we are planning a trip over to the Other Side, and I cannot wait.
